Handylist is temporarily out of service

Sadly, we cannot afford to continue to operate Handylist, and it will be shutting down on Thursday, October 23, 2008. We tried to create a place for neighbors to communicate and improve their neighborhoods, and I think we were partially successful at that, but we weren't able to get enough neighborhoods involved so that it would be a self-sustaining operation. We encourage you to use Yahoo Groups for your email communications and craigslist for your classifieds needs. Both are large and stable enough to provide you service on an ongoing basis.
